year 100 is approaching in aranock.

if my calculations are correct it will occur approx mon 11/7/2011 at 3:07 am eastern

or 7:07 am gmt.

BUT...

i just realized daylight savings ends sun 11/6/2011 in the us.

which means year 100 would occur mon 11/7/2011 @ 2:07 am eastern

gmt itself does not observe daylight savings time... meaning it will still occur at 7:07 am gmt

so if your time zone observes daylight savings, know your appropriate gmt offset with daylight savings off.

anyways, the point is:

i dont remember a v2 game ever reaching the year 100

this sets up nicely for a weekend of celebratory events lqs, scroll hunts, etc. that could occur nov 4th - 7th

Clocks in the UK go back one hour at 2.00am Sunday 30 October.

We do know that 100 is approaching and will be celebrating the occassion, and especially as 5th November is guy fawkes night in UK, another reason to celebrate.

As far as I know, no other v2 server has ever reached this milestone. If I remember correctly we actually reached the time limit hard coded into the game code awhile back and LL had to race to keep the world from ending. May Aranock last long into the future.

What a close call that was, Aranocks very own millenium bug May Aranock see another 100! Although i think they wont let me play in my nursing home...
