Supply vs demand. Supply is low demand is high therefor it is worth more then the typical 20k people often pay. If I found scrolls, I would keep them and use them for trade later on if nobody would be willing to pay what I wanted.

I was right! You now get a 50% pay increase for doing the same thing. I bet people will pay 40k. I think they will definitely pay 35k. The worst that'll happen is they just don't sell and you reduce the price. I think you could work it all the way up to 50k or 60k. I wouldn't sell it for 20k if I were you. Especially if they sell in just a few minutes.

no, the worst thing is if everyone starts selling for more then 20k the market price will rise and many people wornt be able to afford them. Other items will soon follow and the market will continue to inflate (it is right now but it will inflate faster) and youll have to pay 5k for a gpot. Gold is already devalued enough, no need to devalue it more.

The amount of gold in the system is the reason it is worth so little. If they took gold out of the system somehow, in theory it would raise in value. Maybe they could have a vendor sell items like gpots or scrolls so they could delete the gold as they got it? The vendor could sell scrolls for 40k each, gpots for 4k each? Over market value but I bet people would do it and it would take gold out of the system.

Problem is that it is relatively easy to get more so a few people could afford to pay 40k a scroll and 5k a gpot but most people wouldn't. Gold is really easy to get if you put the time in at later levels. I could probably get 100k or more a day if i spent all day grinding for gold. and selling a scroll for 40k doesn't take it out of the system since its a closed system, just moving the gold from player to player. A cash sink like the vendor you suggest is needed and will be implemented sometime sooner rather then later I think.
Edit: I forgot to mention there are about a dozen millionaires, as well as some multimillionaires so i dont think gold is gonna stop getting devalued anytime soon.

Oh I know. I don't see any other way to fix it besides a cash sink of somekind.

I dont know who is selling stat scrolls (apart from brav) for 20k but I always sold for 25k ea.

I get 1000 plat for my scrolls str agil will int brav , the lesser scrolls I've been getting 300 plat for: HP END MANA. That's been the going rate for awhile now. I still have plenty to sell
