Actually it took me two attempts. Poison was definitely helpful, but I don't think it was a deal breaker. The only reason I was able to do it was because gmoon allowed me to infinitely heal the GC. There were many times he was around 10% or less and I could barely heal him.
XP wise I was about 1M shy of FDM. I found a lot of luck was involved in that attempt. Also.. very sneaky on a few parts. Well played
Sorc and warrior died pretty easy to a magen GC.
The AT/AH.. first time they owned the GC pretty bad and then me. I found it was important to kill the AH first. Actually the AT got the better of me and killed my GC. I barely managed to slink off and recast.
My GC died again in the last room. The only thing that saved me is that I moved my GC into position by luck and the lord auto attacked him first. This meant the first three undead GCs went after him. By the time the other GCs spawned everything was c1/c2. However with 2 skele GCs +3 undeads attacking my GC I couldnt save him. The lack of aggressiveness towards me and the ability to stun the GCs were a huge factor. Didn't hurt after my GC died the lord went after one of his own
. When I had to recast GC I went in and picked them off 1 by 1.
I found my stun and dispel to be fine. It if wasnt for gmoon I would have needed more med/conc for sure. Ew wasn't a huge factor, it was more about keeping him alive than dishing out the damage. Resis didnt do a dang thing for me, and stun was worthless 99% of the time. Though UW penting was nice and Id raise res again in a heartbeat just for those 71k solves. C1 failed to hit a fair amount, it would have been easier with higher bless/c1. Infact the AT was almost unbeatable because of my low C2 not hitting. 90 GC seems good, might even be able to go a couple of points lower if you are going to use gmoon. B1/B2 didnt mean anything because my GC+ poison was doing all the killing. If I had been bold enough to let off a B2 my GC would have ate dirt in a nanosecond.
And @ a certain hara who wanted to do it with 55 dagger. Having a dagger made a HUGE difference, life and death, at three different points.
