| So long story short my hard drive died and I lost all of my .moa files and can't retrieve them (I took it to a tech place and they told me the motor on it is fried and it could be done but it would cost about $1800, no thanks). Is there any way for me to get my files back? I have never shared characters or anything like that so I hope it isn't an issue. My characters are: Cyrus Cross Drako Draxus Drakon Virus They could be sent to my e-mail at eschalon5@hotmail.comAnyway let me know, thanks! | |

| Ok thanks Dieharder. And the computer is fine, I replaced the hard drive and reinstalled the OS, but they can't do data recovery on the old hard drive because the motor in it is fried, so I'd have to take the hard drive to some special computer forensics place which is apparently expensive. That's what I was told anyway, I don't know anything about that sort of thing. | |

| Ah I see. Most dont do harddrive repair on that level, definitely only worth it if youre like.. looking for the cure for cancer or something.
I actually used to take apart busted HDs and put them into working HD casings so it is possible, but its time consuming and delicate work. I used to keep my .MOAs in an email as a backup until I started using google drive. |

| Ody or LL will get back to you as soon as they can, In my experience the wait is not long for a completely voluntarily run game. |

| We need more people who have the ability to do these types of things/develop/code/etc involved.
It's hard to do but it's pretty important to have a staff of active people who are trust worthy.

| Mission accomplished. Apologies for the delay as I am trying to invent the 48 hour work day but failing miserably. | |
