I have no idea what the ladder to Aranock is for. I found it for the first time while making the map, could never get into the area it was in before. Maybe it's for future content or maybe it is just there to take you out of sewers. It takes you right behind Gunther's house.

You're right as long as I haven't missed anything.
I was as thorough as I could be and I'm pretty sure I got everything but I can't be 100% sure.

They just teleport you back outside the secret area. I don't know if that's what you mean or if it's changed at some point.

Maybe that's what it was. I don't remember, it was a long time ago.

Pole exp is quite random, I don't remember the exact formula, but it's like random(20)+rank*base

rank would be your rank number and base the base exp of the pole, so if base was like 800, and you were sgm, you could get 7.2k or you could get 23.2k, but I think there was also another part to it where if the final outcome was less than a certain amount, you got that instead

Not so shure about that, i got 435exp from same pole i got 18k exp from another char so the exp is waa to random

Like I said, I'm not sure of the formula, I'm trying to remember a conversation had 2 years ago. Sorry for a foggy memory

Was wondering on the sorc guide is thar right not raising enhance weapon until after all the otheres are that high?

And mine 3 is N of the mage/knight. If you walk into the NE corner of the area.. hug and trade the N wall, its about 1 screen N (and maybe slightly west) of where you fight the knight when you mine those 3-4 pieces from the small lava room into the large.

I will just drop this right here, if the gods don't like that I did this remove it  



Ok so the black lines are the paths to the keys, red lines are the paths to the doors.

Do not open any chests unless you see 1 of the black lines going towards them, also do not open any chests inside the skeleton rooms that you have to fight.  When you get to the last area and mine through you will fight 2 skeletons, once you complete that you will fight 4 skeletons, so be prepared.  The teleports in the rooms with the monsters will just take you 1 before the room if you select the wrong 1, just guess and check it as I don't know which teleport is exactly which because the rooms are similar.

When you kill the room of 3 ghosts in the end, you will be teleported to a room thats about 4/4 with walls on each side.  Mine to the Northwest for the end, inside is a colonel ghost and chest with necro sword.  Congrats you got necro sword now

In the Northeast corner of the wolves room is where you get the steel dragon armor, I didn't map it cause I didn't need the armor on my necro.

Which is a shame really because it means you also missed a gpot.

In the teleport room the south portal will take you to wand quest, north will take you to staff quest.

Someone really needs to take all this and make a website out of it..

I was bored so I mapped out Necromancer Sword quest, I didn't fully mine it all out, because let's be honest, I hate mining so you're lucky you get this. I also ID'd the mobs for their stats.

I did notice the final ghost had 80 stun/curse instead of 70, but everything else was the same.
