/Spellignore

Not quite happy about this. I check /spell while I was in BS on Dieharder (Major temp) helping Shade (Captain Merc). I was definitely set to ignore spell attacks. Infact on the first way through, I did ignore it! Stole a shiva candle / recalled and on the way back I reacted to Ursel curse! After my death I checked /spell again and confirmed it was indeed ignoring and it was.

Cost me 30 HP/Mana + Luck.


Someone (Dancealot?) tried to claim that /f now effects spells as well as melee, is that true on this server??

Blast is treated as an offensive attack and is controlled by /f.
Curse is treated as a spell and is controlled by /spellignore.

This the way is has always been as far as I can recall back to the moa days.

I can not say why it was set up this way.

Ursel has used this to lure maybe a ship onto the rocks of dispair.

Free tip - when approaching her, turn off /f and /spelli.

Hm yeah could have been a blast not a curse that hit me.

Blast is melee?? Thats some rubbish. Good to know though.

Yeah, blast is controlled by /fightback.

Either turn it off too or spam ESC when you go in.
