"Could not allocate sprite cache (not enough video memory)
Performance will suffer severely"

This is what I get each time I log in. ...yes i am running it through D3D...ran the same setup as before...but i get the above message....

AMD Radeon HD 8450G
total available graphics memory 2158MB
dedicated video memory 768 mb

Any clue how to fix it?

I sometimes get the same message running under virtual box.
My suspicion is that it has not loaded all the sprites into memory and some may need to be read from disk.
i have never noticed and performance problems so never investigated further.

Thanks LL for taking the time to read the message and respond..no performance issues anymore...reinstalled both the game and d3d....works fine..but the message still comes up.

I too get that message when running from virtualbox, but I too haven't seen any performance issues.
