Allot of people in game want updates all the time..... affraid

If the coding is done, the GFX files are Batched (Numbered) and sent. sunny

With the Stats being to satisfaction. study


Updates (New) would be more frequent.

Agreed - first thing that should be done (which requires zero graphics) is removal of 255 hardcap and warlord rebirth system.

rebirth system needs to be discussed a little bit but a spell bonus, base stat cap increase, etc, should be in order...

I know we have talented coders that can do the 255 hardcap stuff (Go lurker, Spodi)

As much as it would sadden me, i would be completely down to rebirth my Warlord AT, given the right incentives.

I really do like the idea of the rebirth system.

It allows people to come back to the game with their oodles of warlords and start fresh with those names.

Obviously there must be some sort of reward, and it must be worthwhile.

If I recall correctly, LL was saying how much work it would be to remove the cap.

The cap was removed in another iteration of v2. It has been done. But i really want to see the rebirth system implemented.

Whats a fair reward for rebirth?  Spell bonus seems good for mages but not so much for templars. Or would we choose from a list and be rewarded accordingly?

Would anyone be interested in rebirth only skills?

Such as lets say Blast 2 for temps except we can call it lets say Whirlwind and it uses 150 End or maybe compulse but it can be called intimidate and use 500 end? Just rough suggestions

I suggestions for rebirth was either spell bonus, either unlock a certain skill or raise max base for skills.

I think the reward should be pretty significant.

a 5% spell bonus wouldnt be enough for me to care.

Nor would a champion weapon.

5 all attributes max wouldnt be either...

An extra arch skill of your choice would completely break game balance, Sorceror with warcry? lol.

i dont think granting any class any skill would be fair.

I think 10 more attribute max would be good enough, or a new item that is significantly better than a champion weapon, something along the strength of a prison amulet.

While I agree about the need for balance, the reality of the matter is that it takes a significant amount of time and dedication to actually get to warlord. On top of that only 2 classes have any significant speed in ranking up. ATs, Warriors, Seyans and Necro will all struggle with getting to warlord as opposed to Sorcs and AH. The investment of time should be SIGNIFICANTLY worth it. That is why I think asking for an additional skill is justified. I don't see the point of a stronger item when the truth is that you can max most stats with the correct gear so the advantage will only appeal to more SS dependent races.

I really cannot foresee many individuals going for a second rebirth or a third which is why allowing for extra skills or higher maxes is worth it. The ones would want to dedicate a lot of time in tedium will be justly rewarded. No point in rebirthing for a shitty weapon that you can be replaced by SS.

Say for a seyan as an example then, what bonus skills could they get? anything?

Would necro skills be included? would they max at 90 for a seyan? what about other classes?

I don't even think i'd bother if it was for another skill... id only want warcry, and even then, pvp in the game isn't exactly a top priority for mostly everyone.

Everything else compared to warcry is garbage, because everyone has endurance that is useless otherwise, and it's huge AOE stun/curse.

Seyans might ask for concentrate? Or harden? Or whatever floats their boat. People might see it as an incentive regardless of pvp/pve efficacy.

Sorcerors might enjoy B2 or dispel or ms?

I guess that new skills should have a low cap like 60 or something and be raised with the increased max cap bonus if they get to a second or third rebirth.

I dont believe giving skills not ment for the class would benefit, it would break many aspects of the game (Pvp mainly).

It should be something that isnt game breaking or overpowered.

i can see +10 Brav/Will/Int/Str/Agil over base being a nice addition, its not something SOME people might think is worth it but then they are not forced to rebirth.
+10 of these bases would give +10 mod spells/resist/etc. which is quite big diff.

Haraks would get Gold armor, everyone else would stay in their current armor type.
Brav/Will/Int/Str/Agil wont hit 255mod easy, so even with this bonus it isnt something that will cap out.

it could even be different dependant on your race.
For example

Seyans change from -5% to +5% bonus (exp cost of skills changes from 6 difficulty to 5)
AT's Recieve 10base meditate and 45 base spells and maybe 50/50 will/int??
AH's Receive 50/50 str/agil (gold armor isnt much i know, but mods will help) maybe 1base immune which can be modded (would probly be about 110mod with bless)
However the immunity idea seems a bit OP. would have to think of alternative for AHs.
Sorcs get Blast2 and 90 braveness (think it maxes at 75 atm)
Warriors get 75spells base?;p

Just IDEAS ;p

This would make the game a bit more defined as some people will pick different skills to others making people having more unique characters.

For example you would have 1 AH with Immunity, or 1 AH with Stealth Razz
